Anyway, I'll be (trying to) submit more Macaw-themed pictures/literature. The Macaw's always fascinated me. It can live up to 100 years or more, too. They come in all sorts of colors and sizes. Now, let's start with some more research on it.

Every parrot with the ability to "speak" does not actually have vocal chords. Parrots are actually whistling different sounds.

"Parrots are taught to speak without understanding the words. The method is to place a mirror between the parrot and the trainer. The trainer, hidden by the mirror, utters the words, and the parrot, seeing his own reflection in the mirror, fancies another parrot is speaking, and imitates all that is said by the trainer behind the mirror."

Most people would say parrots are stupid because all they're doing is imitating sounds, not actually understanding speech. But soon, I will post a piece of literature explaining why the parrot imitates. ;3
